COMMUNITY RECYCLING

At the entrance of our Roanoke headquarters is our convenient Community Recycling Station. It’s open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week.

This drop-off center accepts a variety of residential recycling materials:

  • Newspaper
  • Mixed paper
  • Office paper
  • Cardboard
  • Metal cans
  • Aluminum cans
  • Clear glass
  • Plastic containers

Proceeds from the collections are split monthly between two Roanoke environmental groups, the Clean Valley Council and Valley Beautiful. Sales of the material are priced at current market values and accumulated every month. At the end of the month the total check is split between these two community organizations.
